Membership is open to:
All teacher assistants/education assistants in Western Australia working in government, non-government, Catholic and independent schools, district high schools, primary schools, pre-schools, kindergartens, education support centres and special education schools.
Early childhood educators (not teachers) working in day care centres, early childhood education centres, before and after school care facilities in W.A. and retired teacher assistants/education assistants not working in any other field.
Those professionals who work in the field of educating and training teacher assistants/education assistants.
Membership to The West Australian Association of Teacher Assistants Inc. costs $50 per calendar year.
